Fear is a major emotion in the human brain.
we have each felt it at one point or another.
What really causes fear?
Humans are all afraid of different things, but why?
What is there to be feared at all?
Death is just a sudden end, just as all things mjst end.
There os nothing to be feared from the unknown, or death, orvirtually anything else.
I have read from multiple writers about the concept of fear, but from a prospective of how we are being controlled by fear.
ReplyDeleteFear is a mehanism in our brain to protect our stone age ancestors from fierce beasts like sabertooths. However, there are sabertooths no more but the fear function is still in place. So it has us fearing on something else (cockroaches, employments, ultra high rent). Fear becomes an overprotecting mechanism (Cockroach wont kill us in general case but we over-fear them).
The way we should deal with fear is to think about it clearly and take actions. Is that really life-threatening? Is there anything to deal with the source of fear instead of running away from it? (Dont't try to deal with a sabertooth tho. I am not responsible for any injuries or deaths ;P)
Good point...
DeleteWe must all learn to overcome fear.
